Description
"Two Houses, both alike in dignity In Fair Caprona, where we lay our scene..."
The magician houses of Montana and Petrocchi have feuded ever since the head of the Montana (or was it the Petrocchi?) turned the words of the head of the Petrocchi (or was it the Montana?) into spaghetti, thus making him eat his own words. Now they are near outright war, while a number of strange outsiders have arrived with problems of their own...
Inspired by the children's fantasy works of Diana Wynne Jones (including, but not limited to Witch Week, Archer's Goon, Howl's Moving Castle, The Homeward Bounders, and of course, The Magicians of Caprona), 'What Ripping Fun!' may contain witches and wizards, demons and demon-hunters, people from parallel dimensions, star-crossed romances, more transformations and curses than are probably healthy, and people really keen on cricket.
