Description

_A man sits in a squalid cell, secluded from the bustle and noise of Paris, silently waiting his doom at the hands of the Committee of Public Safety, the butchers of France. Suddenly, a strange vortex appears on the wall of his cell. Faced with a choice between the guillotine and the unknown, he choses the latter...

A dirty figure runs across the moonlit steppes of central Asia. She can hear hoofsteps approaching and knows the Mongols will be upon her soon. She spies a large rock and runs to it in search of shelter but as she approaches she notices an erie glow behind the rock. Cautiously, she rounds the rock only to discover a mysterious vortex of swirling light upon its back side. She is fearful of this otherworldly portal and can sense much danger beyond it. Still her fear of the portal pales compared to her fear of the horde and into the light she steps...

A young woman hides in alley between tall building. Her cell phone buzzes, but she ignores it, crying and leaning against wall. Suddenly, the wall behind her disappears and she falls through to somewhere else..._

Strangers from throughout history find themselves trapped outside time and outside space. Can they solve the puzzles they encounter, and find their ways out? Why are they here? What's really going on?

**Note 1:** Puzzles will involve things like in-game information and the physical layout of game space, not outside things like sudoku or scrabble.

**Note 2:** As of game signup, we have not yet finalized our character list. If there is a particular character you would like to play or time period you would like to be from, please email us at jungle-gms@mit.edu to discuss details.

**Note 3:** Game will take place in low lighting conditions.
