In the far future, Humanity and aliens are ruled over by a group of companies, known as the Consortium. However, due to intense dissatisfaction, a Resistance movement has risen up. The battle against corruption is never-ending and, perhaps unsurprisingly, turned nasty quickly.
The Consortium has been making gains in recent months, pushing the Resistance back at every turn. But the fight to maintain law and order in the face of Resistance agitation continues.
Smertios Security has called for an independent third-party investigation into the treatment of a political prisoner, in an attempt to calm the growing crowd of protesters outside. Your team is tasked with finding the truth, while also keeping everyone around happy. Should be easy, right?
