There was a plan, an idea, a vision, to create a place which would revolutionise kaiju science, weapons testing, and corporate hunting trips. A new facility on an isolated island, without government interference on the commercialisation of serious kaiju science and casual kaiju tourism.

It…didn’t go well.

But in the few weeks it was operational, before The Incident, the Sollgell Island facility was already collecting vital scientific samples and developing new technology, and both corporate and government interests want them secured from the ruin. So get in there, and pack light: There’s a lot of stuff to carry back.
