You are a group of roguish spacefarers: smugglers, exiles, and fugitives, who have somehow ended up on the same ship through various misadventures. You have been pulling all kinds of heists and doing all kinds of odd jobs, but you've now been faced with your biggest task yet: recover the weird space cube made by an ancient alien god which holds unimaginable power. Why? Because someone's willing to pay you a lot of money for it, and frankly, you're absolutely broke.

Strike! is a roleplaying game of tactical combat and heedless adventure. Combining a simplified tactical combat system reminiscent of Dungeons & Dragons 4th edition with a skill system that encourages trying new things and produces sometimes unpredictable results, it's very much a game of cinematic action adventure. Star Strike! combines the system of Strike! with the aesthetics of terrible seventies and eighties science fantasy as well as more modern takes on that genre: if you liked the Guardians of the Galaxy films or Thor: Ragnarok and love tactical combat, this might the game for you.
