For countless generations your people have suffered the whims of the vile apekind and the cruel sorcerers of the Forbidden Zone. But now a sign has appeared, a blazing star falling from the sky, told by your tribe’s wise man to bring about a great change. Chosen as the champions of your people you were sent find out more, but ended up being caught by the apes. Now you waste away behind the bars in the Ape City with this strange man who keeps on scribbling on sand...

“Prisoners of the Planet of the Apes” is an adventure based loosely on the first two of the original Planet of the Apes movies. The players characters are primitive humans of the Planet of the Apes, trying to find out the secret of the sign from the stars. The adventure is run using the rules from Mutant: Year Zero post-apocalyptic rpg.
