It has been five years since the Uprising. The revolutionaries from the Wasteland and Lower Hill have been sent running back to their hovels, and order has been restored by the ruling class. However, victory comes at a cost. Even the richest and most powerful residents of the Upper Hill have had to cut back on their freedoms as the government cracks down on dissent. Even the City's strongest warriors have ghosts to contend with. The world now is more violent and secretive than ever. People go out to fetch a loaf of bread and are never seen again. Weapons are disappearing from public armouries. Alliances are growing ever tighter - or more tenuous.

Cassandra Pessarian, the matriarch of the Hill's wealthiest family, is having a dinner party. The guests of honor are the almost equally powerful Withers family, and the goal is simple: get the children married. Marina, the Withers girl, is coming of age. The reputation of the only Pessarian child, Clorin, is still recovering after his rumored involvement with the revolutionaries, and much stands to be gained in the match by both families. Through their union, the Withers and the Pessarians could consolidate control of the political and financial assets of the City. But securing the match won't be easy. There are, as always, other forces at work, and lately even the best intentions have a way of turning into violence. Power grabs like this one have a way of getting out of hand. But, at a time like this, alliances are essential. And people talk.

_Everything's Fine_ is a short, experimental LARP written for eight players. The information and character sheets are presented as separate segments of a play, of which each player has the portion pertaining to their character. In this style, character sheets are short, and players are encouraged to improvise broadly to bring the story to life. Though the game is written for four male and four female characters, players of all genders are welcome and encouraged to register.
