10 000 liv är ombord rymdskeppet Aniara när hon kommer ur kurs och fortsätter ut i rymden. Utan hopp om att någonsin kunna återvända försöker flyktingarna hantera sin situation, men åren och den konstanta oföränderliga natten runtomkring dem bryter ner dem. De förlorar sin framtid, sina drömmar, sin vilja att leva, och slutligen dör de.

10.000 lives are onboard the spaceship Aniara as she goes off course and into space. Without hope of ever reuniting with humanity, the refugees try to cope with the situation, but years of floating in constant unchanging night wear them down. They lose their sense of future, their dreams, their will to live, and in the end, they die.

Inspired by Harry Martinsson’s book Aniara, and the movie Aniara (2019), the larp experience is centered around our humanity and mortality, and asks the question: what makes life worth living?
