London 1889 - It was supposed to be a joyous reunion of your dear friend Mae who works at the British Museum. Tragically upon your arrival at the hotel, you receive a telegram that she has died quite unexpectedly, and the circumstances are suspect. Her groundbreaking discovery and controversial work regarding the Black Pharaoh would certainly win her the academic notoriety she so deserves. A 'Clarence' is urgently requesting your presence at her home near the museum as soon as you are able. Mae had few close friends, and you're one of them. Who then is Clarence?
