Foromtale

Engang drog en flok pionerer op i bjergene for at skabe et nyt samfund.

Med sig havde de kun det mest nødvendige, samt håb og drømme om en ny og bedre tilværelse end den, de hidtil havde kendt.

Men livet i bjergene var hårdt og barskt. Her fandt de kun kulde og mørke, skænderier og en daglig kamp mod naturen og mod hinanden.

De var i sneens land. Hårdt og koldt, lyst og blødt.

De var gået for langt og kunne ikke længere finde deres vej tilbage.

Èn efter en kom sneen og tog dem i sin bløde favn og gav dem ro og fred og hvile. Stilhed og lys.

Handling:
Spillet handler om at opleve de følelser af frustration, vrede, sorg, skuffelse og frygt, som nybyggerne gennemlever i deres kamp for at overleve - og derefter følelsen af en altomfavnende kærlighed og nærhed, som følger med døden i sneen.

Genre:
Dette er ikke et realistisk, men et poetisk scenarie.

Spillertype:
For spillere med hang til indlevelse og lyst til at udforske nye måder at skabe denne på.

Spilelementer:
Scenariet er uden ord, men vil bruge bevægelse som kommunikation og som et middel til at opnå indlevelse i pionerernes situation. Derudover vil der være fokus på musik som ydre påvirkning. Tom Waits, Nick Cave og Johnny Cash sætter stemningen.

A group of pioneers once set out for the mountains with the aim of creating a new society, bringing only the absolute necessities, as well as their faith and dreams. While having the best intentions, the pioneers couldn’t succeed. Life in the mountains turned out to be hard and demanding. One by one, the snow embraced them, giving them silence, peace, tranquillity and light.

The players are physically guided through feelings like anger, frustration, sorrow, and fear – and the feelings of peace and closeness following their deaths. Music by Tom Waits, Nick Cave and Johnny Cash sets the mood.

Non-verbal – Abstract – Physical

A poetic, non-verbal larp that emphasizes physical expression. The players are guided through feelings like anger, frustration, sorrow, and fear – and the feelings of peace and closeness which follow the characters’ gentle deaths. Music by Tom Waits, Nick Cave and Johnny Cash sets the tone.

The genre is not realistic but rather using an abstract poetic approach. White Death is a scenario without words. This means all communication is done physically. The game is completely transparent and the focus is on the atmosphere rather than the outcome.
