Hyperintelligente rumvæsener truer jorden, og kun kæmpestore kamprobotter - HERU’erne - står mellem dem og undergangen. De sidste fire mech-piloter skal kæmpe en umulig kamp og indse, at det de har ofret alt for, er uopnåeligt.
Fire piloter af mechaerne kaldet HERU bliver tvunget sammen for at redde den sidste tilbageværende gruppe af mennesker efter en århundredelang invasion fra HIDRA. Med pres fra deres overordnede, den brede offentlighed og deres familier er de ved at bryde sammen under en erkendelse, de ikke selv kan acceptere: Det er allerede for sent.
At få styr på deres liv og løse ender inden den sikre undergang ser dog meget forskelligt ud for dem hver især. Nogle af deres ambitioner falder ikke i god jord hos deres med-piloter, og det er umuligt at blive enige om en fælles kurs. Hvad gør man når selv dem, der burde være den anden halvdel af deres sjæl, er måske ikke helt så meget på deres side, som de gerne vil tro.
HERU: You can’t fight the Hurricane er et karakterdrevet scenarie med fokus på de indbyrdes relationer mellem piloterne og deres forhold til sig selv. Historien udspiller sig i tiden MELLEM de sidste tre slag om menneskehedens overlevelse og er derfor IKKE et action- eller kamp scenarie.

Hyper-intelligent space beings threaten Earth, and only giant combat robots - the HERUs - stand between them and destruction. The last four mech pilots must fight an impossible battle and realize that what they have sacrificed everything for, is unattainable.
HERU: You can’t fight the Hurricane is a sci-fi drama about the personal intricacies of being a mech pilot in a frozen, dying and corrupt world.
The 4 last pilots of the Mecha called HERU, are forced together to save the last remaining group of humans, following a century long invasion from the HIDRA. With pressure from their superiors, the general public and their families, they are crumbling under the knowledge that they can’t accept themselves: It is already too late.
Getting their affairs in order before this certain demise looks very different though, and some of their ambitions do not sit well with their co-pilots. Agreeing on a course of action is impossible, and even those who were supposed to be the other half of their soul, might not be as much on your side as they’’d like.
HERU: You can’t fight the Hurricane” is a character driven scenario, focussing on their interpersonal relationships with each other and with themselves. The story takes place in the time in between the last 3 battles for humanity, and this is therefore NOT an action or combat scenario.
