- Enter ye Clerics, for ye clerical powers will be needed to turn the many ledgers of office documents.
- Enter ye Barberians, for horrendous hairdos will harry the heroes (especially ones named Harry).
- Enter ye Warlocks, for clasped chests and latched doors stand between you and your ultimate goal, and only eldritch violence could defeat such locked obstacles.
- Enter ye Teaflings, for no skill is deadlier than the petit fours of battle, flung at luddites who fail to respect the elegance of a well brewed Earl Grey.
- Enter ye Desert Witches, for your culinary powers will be needed to encase the deadly deli meats that roam inside (and don't forget the mustard and mayo)

Or just roll whatever you want, because Risus is a rules light, goofy, and fantastic little two page system that thrives off your imagination. Want to be a Magical Chosen One who is a Awkward and Skinny Youth on the verge of Puberty that has grown up as A Salty Swashbuckling Pirate with a Foul Mouth who is a Amateur Tea Cozy Knitter on the Side? Go nuts! The world is your oyster, unless you're allergic to seafood. Then I'd suggest you chew with your mouth closed because no one wants to see what you're eating.
