Into every generation a Slayer is born. She alone will stand against the force of darkness. She is the Slayer. One girl in all the world, a Chosen One. since beginning your Watcher training, you´ve must´ve heard this, like, fifty times. A week. It´s one of those quotes Watchers trot out in every situation- introduction meetings, tutorials, dinner parties... everything.

So it´s understandable what an uproar rumours of a second Slayer have caused in the Council - especially considering the Californian one hasn´t died in years...
