It wasn't her fault. I've said it a thousand times, though the tears still come, melting the ink of another letter to her. I have boxes of them, letters written but never sent. Part of me knows that I should destroy them...but there is too much of me in them. I don't have her courage. I never did. The tumour will do what I cannot, and then I can sleep without the nightmares.
