Welcome to The Haven. My name is Mara and I am the group therapist. We don’t use surnames here. My job is to get you all clean and in as short a time as possible. We will meet for group sessions twice a day in the Pine suite. Please note that the abuse of alcohol, drugs, television, radio and the internet are prohibited at The Haven. There is to be no fraternising with the other patients. This could be a potential danger to your already addictive personalities. Your bags have been searched and all offending items have been removed. Understand that you are all sick people and I am only here to help. There is no need for anger. It is only through talking about your problems that you can achieve true freedom from your addictions. I hope you enjoy your stay.
