Wizards and wiseguys, gumshoes and goblins, angels, devils, faeries, and dragons; spies, gangsters, gunsels, and desperate young lovers all have reasons to be here today. Some of them are being blackmailed, others are making shady deals with shady characters. Some of them are just passing through the right place at the right time. Murderers and their victims will meet for the last time and settle matters once and for all. And over all of it falls the shadow of a treasure out of legend, the Maltese Dragon... the stuff that dreams are made of.

The Maltese Dragon is a high fantasy urban noir LARP for 24 players featuring powers and secrets, romance, angst, drama, and mystery. The game is set in a nebulous modern fantasy world that resembles a major city on the east coast of the United States blending story and fashion elements of the early 1940s and the late 1970s. The only thing different is everything. Characters will be based on classic tropes from dark cinema and high fantasy, with modern social issues.

Subject matter will include violence, sexual assault, transhumanism, sexuality, torture, drug use, and crime.
