Beschreibung
Starfleet: Ready for Command er et Real-Time Wargame, hvor spillere kommanderer en flåde af rumskibe over hele bordets areal. Form frontlinjer, udmanøvrer din modstander og eksekverer strategier, under presset af real-time.
Tag rollen som flådeadmiral og test dine strategiske evner i et episk rumslag!
Hver runde vil spillerne samtidigt bevæge deres skibe, ved at gentage den samme simple handling:
Grib et skib -> Skub & Rotere -> marker skibet brugt
Hver af disse beslutninger bliver dog interessante, når man skal overveje skibets design, sigtelinjer og muligheder for egne og fjendtlige skibe i nærheden, samt hvordan dette påvirker resten af slaget.
Foromtale
Når tiden er omme pauser spillet og alt skade tælles op, og destruerede skibe fjernes. Spillerne får også tid til at planlægge, før næste runde begynder.
Intensiteten er høj i Starfleet, men fart er ikke hvad der tæller, hvert skib må alligevel kun rykkes en gang per runde. Tiden tvinger i stedet et kompromis mellem at finde den bedste handling og ikke bruge for meget tid.
Holdspil tilføjer yderligere et lag af kompleksitet, da spillerne nu skal koordinere både strategi og opbygning af hver deres flåde. Ofte må slagmarken eller opgaverne derpå opdeles mellem spillerne på holdet for at have bedre tid og overblik.

Presentation
Take on the role of fleet admiral and test your strategic abilities in an epic space battle!
Each round, players will simultaneously move their ships by repeating the same simple sequence of actions:
Grab a ship > Push & Rotate > Mark the ship as used
Each of these moves becomes interesting when you consider the ship’s design, line of sight, and the opportunities for both friendly and enemy ships nearby, as well as how this affects the rest of the battle.
When time runs out, the game pauses and all damage is counted, and destroyed ships are removed. Players also get some time to plan before the next round begins.
The intensity is high in Starfleet, but speed isn’t what matters—each ship may only be moved once per round anyway. The time pressure instead forces a compromise between finding the best action and not spending too long on each one.
Team play adds yet another layer of complexity, as players must now coordinate both strategy and the assembly of their individual fleets. Often, the battlefield or its objectives must be divided among teammates to maintain better oversight.
