Welcome to The Fairy Godmother’s Matchmaking Service! In Fairytopia, the home of all the fairytale characters and creatures, there’s no better way to find your “happily ever after” than to attend a group session of expert matchmaking service, going through intense speed dating and intimate compatibility tests, to find out who will be your one true love and ride with you into the sunset. With a lot of eccentric characters from well known fairytales there are several options to find love. But there is a risk! If The Godmother doesn’t find you a match you will be declared “unworthy of love” and cursed to live the rest of your life in bitter loneliness. So you’d better show off your best qualities, hide those flaws and fight the shadows of the past!

There will be a lot of short conversations in pairs (switching partners often) and several nonverbal exercises and rituals including playfully moving to music while flirting and some scenes including physical contact (with techniques for opting in).

Johani is a larper and larp designer from Uppsala. They have written and lead over 20 different larps for smaller groups (youth groups, roleplay communities, local organisations and private friend groups) since the early 2000s. This is their first contribution to Stockholm Scenario Festival. Johani is a burnt out teacher and parent, who gets very invested in drawing complex relationship charts while watching reality TV shows.
