Everyone has a fairy tale mantle that guides their life. Some wholeheartedly embrace theirs, while others reject, ignore, or reinvent these narratives. However when a story goes rogue or takes a turn for the bizarre or gruesome, it's the Other Cases Unit who gets called in. These stories rarely have simple, clean or happy endings.
When a local man was imprisoned in an seemingly abandoned castle and his daughter refused to take his place in spite of the narrative imperative, the OCU were called in. When Ruby Cloak started hunting wolves the OCU had to intervene. When Theo Dish and Theresa Spoon went missing, the OCU had to do the leg work to confirm the elopement everyone suspected. They receive little thanks and less praise for their work.
Now the moon is missing, the watch is spread thin in the search, night things are increasingly active and the missing persons list is ever growing. Under this ominous shadow, what other mysteries will arise?
