T'was the night before Christmas, and while you may not have a warm roof over your heads, you have merriment in your hearts. Too far to make it to town before the sun fell, you made camp and caroled while fixing up a warm supper over the campfire. But a few meagre hours past midnight and into an early Christmas morning , the snow began to fall hard. The snowstorm put out the campfire and threatened to collapse your tents. Y'all broke camp and started moving again , hoping to make it to the town of Red Clover before frostbite blackened your toes like little lumps of coal.

On the road again, the cold bites at your bones as frozen trees shake in the wind and drop clumps of snow all about you and hungry wolves hown in the distance. Nary any shelter to be found, until the smell of soke draws your attentuion to a cabin up top of a distant hill. Right as hope was found in the midst of an ongoing blizzard, the frosty wind carries a shrill, pained scream that pierces the night, and the scream is coming from that lonely little lodge.
