Beschreibung
Welcome to a world very similar to the Shadowrun universe. You will be playing a Johnson (a shadowy corporate figure who controls the credits and the missions) or a Shadow runner. Shadow runners are Mages, magic users with elemental, telekineic, or spirit powers, Deckers who use the latest tech to hack the Matrix, Street Samurai who provide the muscle and fighting expertise, or Riggers who pilot, drive or bodge together anything that you can throw at them. Shadow runners are people who live outside the mainstream and do the jobs that the corporations can't get their own people to do. You have all come together to make credits, get information, find evidence on the schemes of the rich and powerful and hopefully find a way to look after your friends and family. Along the way you may find out more than you had bargained for. After all, this is the world of the future where major corporations hold the power of life and death and corporate espionage is a fact of daily life. The game will include a keyword mission based element along with freeform plots and character angst. If you have read any of the shadow run books or played the RPG you will be familiar with some of the setting, although we are making lots of changes so please don't expect this to be exactly like the shadow run universe. Blue sheets on the history of the world will be sent out with casting questionnaires.
Game will contain themes of violence, inter- species tension (elves verses others) Players may play other species (Troll, Dwarf etc) and this will be looked at in the character questionnaire stage. All characters have been written as gender neutral and the GMs will discuss appropriate pronouns in the character questionnaire. No physical combat but larp and nerf weapons maybe used as props. No knowledge of Shadowrun is needed to play the game. We will explain terms like Decker in the game brief and are happy to answer questions. Keyword missions will be given out by players and can be accomplished by working with other characters to achieve goals. No real world skills will be needed. Characters will be assigned keywords to reflect their skills and connections. Based on the keywords and who they can convince to help them, characters will succeed or fail at short missions. Rewards will further character plots and personal goals and uncover information and evidence that the players can choose what to do with.
