*You laughed when the invitation first came in the mail...it even came with a board game card. Of course he was throwing a Murder Mystery birthday. Martin was always coming up with clever and entertaining ways to celebrate. Honestly, you look forward to it every year. He really upped his game this time, which seems improbable given how ludicrous last years bash was. "Costumes Required" was written in bold letters at the bottom on the page. "Challenge Accepted" you think to yourself.*

*The invite also informs you that the event is taking place at the Montague House. You're so excited! That place is one of the oldest mansions around. It's been closed for renovations for months and has recently reopened. You can't wait to explore the inside!*

*This is going to be most amazing party. You'll have to remember to thank Martin for going to such extremes this time, because this will truly be a night to remember.*

Fugue Estate is a dark gothic horror boffer game set in modern day. Rules will be based on the Accelerant system, but those new to Accelerant or boffer are welcome! Varied combat options will be available, including fighter, spell caster, and healer. All weapons will be provided by the game, but if you have personal ones you wish to bring (subject to GM approval), please do!

Additional context: The game has been inspired by the works of The Haunting of Hill House and Scary Stories To Tell In the Dark, as well both Clue and Betrayal at House on the Hill board games.

Will you survive until morning?
