Twitch

Imagine if there were voices in your head and they told you what to do. Sometimes they are helpful and sometimes they are very, very disturbing. You have been given a task to perform with another person, but you don’t know what it is. Dare you allow the voices to determine your fate?

Twitch is a live action event where two teams of voices control two individuals (called avatars) to try to perform tasks. But each voice has a different agenda. There is no plot or characterization, per se. As a voice, you will see what your avatar sees and will try to guide your avatar to do a task. As an avatar, you will hear multiple voices all trying to guide you to a task and have to decide which to listen to.

Time permitting, all players will have the opportunity to be avatars and voices.

Twitch is neither intended to be humorous or serious. The tasks will be somewhat neutral. Players will find humor and emotion in the situation as befits their personalities.

Avatars will be required to wear a harness for a cell phone and also a Bluetooth earpiece.

Trigger warning: If you are disturbed by the possibility of a simulated schizophrenic episode, you should not play Twitch.
