Beschreibung
Ancient India, as defined by Hindu mythology, is a place filled with magic and mystery. It is a time where the people believe that the Gods embody every aspect of the earth, demons lurk in the forests and Vishnu, the Teacher, walks disguised as a man. It is a time where men and women hold true to the concepts of caste, faith and love and must prove their honor knowing that they are watched by the Gods. This is a time where gifts of miracles and curses are a common reminder of that audience. India is a nation cut into small kingdoms who all swear fealty to the High King. For many years, the kingdom has been wracked with turmoil as the King's sons struggle for the seat of the High Throne. For the past 12 years, three of the King's princes have been in exile and rumor has it that if they can remain hidden long enough, the Gods will bless them, and they will inherit the kingdom. Yet, across the country in the smaller court, the household of King Vivek prepares to celebrate the birthday of his only daughter. Kings and dignitaries from the land are invited to this joyous occasion. Mahabarata is a semi historical story inspired by the Veda and Hindu mythology. Come and explore the concepts of history and Hindu mythology in a game of politics, intrigue, mystery and magic.
