The Battle at Obliviion's Gate is over, the Shadow maimed. Fresh from victory, another obstacle faces the mighty Phoenix Clan. Deep in the bowels of the rebuilt Isawa Palace, Shiba Tsukune lies still, unmoving and unresponsive. In desperation and confusion, the phoenix turn to their erstwhile enemies; the minor Clans; seeking a healer for her ravaged soul.
