Strange things are afoot and coincidences abound in the four systems. How can a trio of JumpShips be sighted in foreign space when there are only seven such craft, all of which are accounted for? Data storage units have been found, hinting at the origins of a lost civilisation, but can it really be coincidence that three of them were found almost at the same time on several different worlds? The war between the Humans and the Teth may be over, but a greater conflict lies on the horizon. Can the governments and the Jump families survive while still squabbling amongst themselves?
