Description

Music is Magic. Those who can wield this power are called phonomancers. The New Orleans phonomancers have formed together the Sempre Coven, bringing together four people who want to make the leap from acquaintances to being a band and roommates. To find a future together, they need to magically reinstate the Coven together. In one night, the Sempre phonomancers will sing the songs about their relationships and the songs that will bring them together.

Intro is a Zoom LARP for 4 players that takes ~4 hours. This LARP includes a character survey, character sheets, and a total of 6 songs per person before the final group song (i.e. there is substantial prep). Pregame will include tech checks and relationship workshopping, which should take roughly 30 minutes. The actual in-game time is ~3.5 hours.

This game is set in an adjacent universe to Outro, with the same characters, but no prior knowledge of that game is necessary.

Note that all songs are sung off of lyrics from youtube (no memorization) and lip synching is perfectly fine. Pregame will include tech checks and relationship workshopping, which should take roughly 30 minutes. The actual in-game time is ~3.5 hours and the vast majority of the time is focused on one-on-one interactions.
Content warnings
The themes of this game involves new relationships, beginnings, romance, and people coming together for a greater purpose. Intro also includes a wide range of sexualities, estrangement from family/lovers, substance abuse, financial stress, depression, vulgar language, and emotional intensity that could include being shouted at. This game is age restricted to 18+.
