France, 1793. Discontent has finally erupted into a revolution that has swept the old order away. The Republican authorities, fearful of threats from within and without, have instigated a policy of suspicion and repression known as the Terror, sending thousands to the guillotine.
Across France, the Revolutionary Armies march, imposing the new order wherever they go. Behind the scenes, however, an older conflict plays out, as the vampires known as the Anarchs oust the Camarilla from power. It is now up to you, the young members of the Committee of Supernatural Affairs, to defend the Anarch Republic from threats in the provinces.
