Foromtale

This morning, a space train left Phobos heading for Saturn. The cargo was an unprecedented load of papal indulgences, rumored to include some of the last holy relics blessed by Pope Sideræl I before his mysterious and untimely death.

Shortly after the train passed the asteroid belt, it was hijacked by a vicious band of low-lifes led by Simon. Who was Simon? Only the most intimidating criminal mastermind on this side of the Milky Way. He assembled the perfect crew to accomplish one last job—a job to give him a clean slate, by heisting a bucket-load of indulgences to wipe away all the sins of his long life of crime.

Or at least, that was the plan before an explosive mishap during the “break into the train” part of the endeavor catapulted Simon straight into space, along with all but 32 of the precious, holy, indulgences.

Now the band of criminals he left behind must scramble for the right indulgences for their specific sins—both past and intended—before the Laser Bishop arrives and things really get interesting.

Does This Space Train Make My Sins Look Mortal? is a likely-but-not-necessarily comedic LARP set during the heist of a space train full of papal indulgences. Character sheets are short and wacky, and the game is heavy on improv (including acting out flashbacks and inventing new sins). Mechanics are medium-light, and, again, wacky.

Participant communications
Character sheets are short and will be sent in advance, after a brief casting survey. Rules/background are also just a few pages.

Content warnings
Blasphemy, alcohol, horniness, death
